A Heart Pictures Production Coming Soon to Theaters
In Cinemas Starting January 29, 2026
Starring rising young talents Saskia Chadwick and Cinta Brian, and featuring the acting debut of South Korean digital creator Bung Korea, HELP ME! (DOWAJUSEYO) delivers a gripping and emotional horror experience.
Jakarta, January 21, 2026 — Following the release of its official poster and trailer, Heart Pictures proudly announces its first feature-length film, HELP ME! (DOWAJUSEYO), set to hit Indonesian theaters on January 29, 2026. Directed by Nur Muhammad Taufik and Sjahfasyat Bianca, the film presents a fresh take on the horror genre by blending Indonesian and South Korean urban myths, wrapped in an intense and emotional love triangle drama.
HELP ME! (DOWAJUSEYO) stars Saskia Chadwick, Cinta Brian, Aruma Khadijah, Dito Darmawan, William Roberts, alongside South Korean actors Kim Geba and Kim Seoyoung.
The story follows TANIA (Saskia Chadwick), an Indonesian university student living in South Korea, whose life takes a dark turn when she becomes entangled with a restless spirit named MIN YONG (Kim Seoyoung). As Tania seeks to uncover the tragic truth behind Min Yong’s death, she is assisted by Dr. Park Min Jae (Kim Geba), a compassionate doctor who develops feelings for her.
However, the presence of DION (Cinta Brian)—a mysterious man haunted by a troubled past—complicates everything. As Tania begins to experience disturbing hallucinations and relentless supernatural disturbances, she is drawn deeper into a cycle of terror with no clear escape.
More than just a horror film, HELP ME! (DOWAJUSEYO) builds an intense mystery that unfolds steadily from beginning to end. The chilling atmosphere of Korean-style horror merges seamlessly with mystical beliefs about the spirit world, creating a cold, eerie, and threatening ambiance. At the same time, the love triangle at the heart of the story adds a powerful emotional layer, inviting audiences to immerse themselves in the inner struggles of its characters. Through Tania’s journey, the film explores themes of truth, justice, courage, and emotional resilience.
Shot entirely in South Korea, the film showcases stunning visuals across iconic locations, highlighting both the country’s beauty and its haunting mystique. Strong performances by the Korean cast further enhance the film’s authenticity and enrich its cinematic experience.
“Working with these talented young artists has been an incredibly rewarding experience,” said Herty Purba, Executive Producer of Heart Pictures. “Not only are they exceptionally talented, but they also demonstrate remarkable commitment, discipline, and work ethic. The results are evident on screen. We hope audiences enjoy the film and that it brings a fresh perspective to Indonesian horror cinema.”
For Saskia Chadwick, portraying Tania marks an important milestone in her acting career.
“Playing Tania has been a meaningful experience in my journey as an actress. Throughout the preparation, rehearsals, and filming process, I learned so many new things thanks to the incredible support from the crew and fellow actors. I truly hope audiences receive this film warmly,” she shared.
Meanwhile, Kim Geba expressed his gratitude for being part of the project:
“I am deeply thankful that my first feature film experience is with HELP ME! (DOWAJUSEYO). I will never stop being grateful for this invaluable opportunity—if anything, it has made me fall even more in love with acting.”
With its emotionally resonant story, intense suspense, and strong visual atmosphere, HELP ME! (DOWAJUSEYO) is ready to offer audiences a unique horror-romance experience. Catch it in theaters starting January 29, 2026.
