GJLS: Ibuku Ibu-Ibu
What if a family had three sons who were all uniquely flawed in their own ways? Instead of being failures, they’re just… different!
This is what GJLS: Ibuku Ibu-Ibu, an Indonesian comedy film, offers. The film introduces us to three brothers, played by Rigen Rakelna, Ananta Rispo, and Hifdzi Khoir, who are not your average siblings.
The Brothers
– Rigen as Pawang Ujan: A rain controller who can make it rain laughter with his deadpan expressions and absurd comments.
– Rispo as Budak Judol & Pinjol: A young man whose life revolves around online gaming and loans, with his phone always glued to his hand.
– Hifdzi as MC Dangdutan: A charismatic MC who can out-dance professional dancers with his hot moves.
The Story
The film tells the story of these three brothers who may not be the most normal or reliable, but they come together to save their father from a con artist who’s after their family’s wealth. Along the way, they showcase their quirks and flaws, but also their love and care for each other.
The film follows the story of three brothers who try to stop their father’s plans to marry multiple women. They’re motivated by the fear that their father’s remarriage will lead to family conflicts and reduce their inheritance share.
A Unique Family
What’s interesting about these brothers is that we never quite know who’s the oldest, middle child, or youngest. They defy traditional stereotypes of sibling order, and it’s their chaos that brings laughter and sometimes heartwarming moments.
Directed by Monty Tiwa, the film promises to deliver hilarious moments and heartwarming scenes, showcasing the unique chemistry between the three lead actors.
Release Date
