“Nine Puzzles” has become one of the most-watched Korean series globally on Disney+ Hotstar.
Kim Da-Mi’s Take on Yoon Ena’s Character:
The uniqueness of Yoon Ena’s character is what drew Kim Da-Mi to join the series.
Apart from the intriguing storyline, Kim Da-Mi revealed that she took on this role because she found Ena’s approach to analyzing profiles to be very distinctive. Ena is a highly intelligent and sharp profiler who acts on her own terms, yet she also has a vulnerable side.
“The most important aspect for me in portraying Ena was to showcase her childlike side, as I imagined her mind being stuck at the age when she witnessed her uncle’s death, which must have been incredibly traumatic,” said Kim Da-Mi.
Son Suk-Ku’s Approach to Playing Detective Kim Han-Saem:

Son Suk-Ku plays the role of Detective Kim Han-Saem, a skilled and persistent investigator.
The murder of Ena’s uncle is his first case, in which he interrogates Ena and suspects her as the prime suspect.
Even ten years later, when they work at the same office, Han-Saem remains obsessed with proving Ena’s guilt.
Given the series’ focus on brutal cases, Son Suk-Ku aimed to portray his character as someone who lives in a world detached from reality.
To immerse himself in the role, Son Suk-Ku took a different approach from his previous projects.
He revealed, “In previous projects, I would always voice out my ideas. But this time, I listened more to everyone, from the costume team, production design team, to various department heads to get inspiration.”
“Nine Puzzles” is released in batches, creating anticipation among viewers who eagerly await the next episode
