WeTV Indonesia and Unlimited Production officially kicked off the production of their latest original series, “WeTV Original Main Hati,” with a traditional tumpengan ceremony attended by the main cast and production team. Directed by Adhe Dharmastriya, the series features a talented young cast, including Davina Karamoy, Irsyadillah, Adel Reva, and Alesha Fadillah.
In the series, Davina plays Angela, a young entrepreneur on the verge of bankruptcy who is forced to ask her father’s help with one condition: marrying a bachelor. She then enters into a contract marriage with Bana (played by Irsyadillah), a swimming coach who also needs quick cash. Will their relationship facilitate their plans or spark true love?
Febriamy Hutapea, Executive Producer & Country Head of WeTV Indonesia, expressed her enthusiasm for the series’ unique storyline. “WeTV Original Main Hati offers not only romance and drama but also comedy and strong family conflicts,” she said during the tumpengan ceremony.
The series is written by seasoned writer Salman Aristo, who has worked extensively in Indonesia’s film and television industry. The tumpengan ceremony marked the beginning of production, symbolizing collective prayer and hope for a smooth and successful production.
