The Indonesian Horror Scene is Shaken Again!
Soraya Intercine Films has officially announced the continuation of the Suzzanna universe with a new film titled
Suzzanna: Santet Dosa di Atas Dosa.
This news was shared through their Instagram account @sorayaintercinefilms, accompanied by an official poster that immediately caught attention.
Luna Maya is confirmed to reprise her role as Suzzanna, following the success of the previous two films.
Most surprising is that top actor Reza Rahadian will also star in this film.
Azhar Kinoi Lubis will direct the film in his debut collaboration with Soraya Intercine Films. Sunil Soraya, who is also the producer, wrote the screenplay.
“We’re proud to present Suzzanna: Santet Dosa di Atas Dosa and welcome back Luna Maya and Reza Rahadian on the same screen,” said Sunil Soraya.
The film Suzzanna: Santet Dosa di Atas Dosa is a remake of the 1989 classic Santet I: Ilmu Pelebur Nyawa, starring Suzzanna and Jagat Karana, and produced by Ram Soraya.
The previous films in this universe, Suzzanna: Bernapas dalam Kubur (2018) and Suzzanna: Malam Jumat Kliwon (2023), broke box office records with a total of over 5 million viewers.
