Producer Dheeraj Kalwani said the project was born from observing one of Indonesia’s most talked-about online trends.
“Cek Khodam was inspired by a phenomenon that became part of everyday conversations. We saw an opportunity to transform this viral trend into a fresh, entertaining horror comedy that feels relevant to today’s audiences,” Kalwani said.
He also expressed his excitement about introducing Jirayut as a feature film actor.
“We’re thrilled to present Jirayut in his first feature film. His charisma, comedic timing, and strong connection with audiences make him one of the film’s biggest attractions.”
