For many, watching a great movie is a way to escape into another reality and forget about their daily worries.
Receiving high enthusiasm from the public at the grand opening of the world’s second-largest SCREENX at the end of last year, CGV Cinemas continues to commit to presenting a different cinematic experience for its audience. Welcoming the school holiday moment, CGV reaches out to the people of the capital city more widely by presenting two new SCREENX screens in June 2025, located at CGV AEON Mall Jakarta Garden City and CGV Central Park.
SCREENX is the world’s first multi-projection playback technology that offers an immersive viewing experience with three screens that surround the audience at a 270-degree angle. This technology adds visual content to the left and right sides of the auditorium to create a comprehensive viewing effect and makes the audience feel like they are part of the film more realistically.
Located in one of the shopping centers in East Jakarta, the SCREENX auditorium at CGV AEON Mall Garden City has a capacity of up to 442 viewers with three types of seats that offer different comfort levels, ranging from Regular seats, ergonomic Satin seats for the best view, to Gold Class seats with reclining and blanket features for maximum comfort.
With its stunning visuals and captivating plot, the movie provides a perfect opportunity to escape into a different era.
Meanwhile, CGV Central Park in the strategic area of West Jakarta becomes the second location of SCREENX opened this month. With a capacity of up to 299 viewers and featuring Regular and Satin seats (best view).
“The two SCREENX screens we present this June are ready to accompany the audience’s holiday moments with a different cinematic experience. With a 270-degree screen format that stretches from the front to the right and left sides, the audience can enjoy films more immersively and realistically, making it a fun and unforgettable entertainment choice with loved ones,” said Mr. Mark Nah, CEO of CGV Cinemas Indonesia.
The premiere of the film Jurassic World: Rebirth from Universal Pictures Indonesia also marked the grand opening of SCREENX CGV Central Park
