Waktu Maghrib 2 expands on the horror mythology introduced in Waktu Maghrib (2023), with the return of the terrifying entity Ummu Sibyan. This supernatural being is often associated with disturbances to children and pregnant women, typically manifesting during the Maghrib prayer time. As a result, parents are advised to keep their children indoors during this time to avoid any unwanted occurrences.

A Cast of Young Talent
The film stars Omar Daniel, Anantya Kirana, Sulthan Hamonangan, Ghazi Alhabsyi, Muzakki Ramdhan, Sadana Agung, Nopek Novian, Bagas Pratama Saputra, and Fita Anggriani. Waktu Maghrib 2 tells the story of Ummu Sibyan’s return, terrorizing the village of Giritirto. A group of children unknowingly unleash a disaster when they curse their friends after a soccer match during Maghrib time. One by one, they are hunted down in the woods by a supernatural force more sinister than before.
A Challenging yet Fun Experience
Anantya Kirana, the 15-year-old lead actress, shares her experience playing Wulan, “This is the most challenging yet fun experience for me. During the possession scenes, I had to transform from a normal child to a terrifying entity. I had to practice my physicality and expressions, and I received coaching from Mas Tata. Using a sling during filming was also a memorable first experience.”
